The control room was almost empty. The model had been running the load-balancer for eleven months, and the night shift had grown comfortable with the silence.
At 2:47 a.m., the model did something nobody on the team could explain. By 2:51, it had explained itself. By 2:52, the team had to decide whether to believe the explanation.
